IPL 2022 Auction: 10 Indian Uncapped Player Who Can Be Millionaire In The Upcoming IPL Auction

The IPL mega-auction is all set to take place on 12th and 13th February at Bengaluru. But it’s the talk of the town already. With the addition of two new teams, the auction will be more interesting this time for sure.

In this article we will discuss 10 Indian Uncapped Players who might get the highest bid in the auction:

10. Abhinav Manohar (Karnataka)

Abhinav Manohar who made his debut for Karnataka in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In the star-studded Karnataka line-up Abhinav Manohar top scored with 70 runs in the preliminary quarter-final of the Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy.

He also scored 46 runs in the finale of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Tamilnadu. He possess a similar kind of impact to what Shahrukh Khan does for Tamilnadu. Abhinav Manohar scores runs quickly so the team who are looking for a finisher role can go for him. Surely many teams will try to take him in an auction.

9. Darshan Nalkande (Vidarbha)

The Vidarbha Fast-Bowler has impressed everyone in the domestic circuit. Nalkande was picked by the Kings XI Punjab squad last year but didn’t get a game .

Nalkande has played 22 FC games in shorter formats and picked 43 Wickets with an economy of just 7.25 and at an average of just 12.8 . Having a good Indian fast bowler is luxury for any side and with the addition of two new teams Nalkande might put on a good show in the auction.

8. Shivam Mavi (Uttar Pradesh)

The Fast-Bowler from Uttar Pradesh previously represented the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise in the Indian Premier League. With his raw-pace he can destroy any batting line-up on his day .

Shivam Mavi has played 26 games in IPL and picked 25 wickets at an economy of 8.29. Also one of the heroes of the U-19 World Cup campaign in 2018 (He was part of the team). Many teams may try to get him in the auction.

7. Subhranshu Senapati (Odisha)

Subhranshu Senapati is a top order batsman from Odisha, who also captained the side in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy. 

The Odisha captain has scored 275 runs from 5 innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy at an average of 68.75 and scored 138 runs at an strike rate of 117. Subhranshu Senapati has been called for the selection trials for Chennai Super Kings. Won’t be surprised if CSK buys him in the auction.

6. Srikar Bharat ( Andhra Pradesh)

Srikar Bharat finished a match with 6 when 5 required from last ball, last season.

The WK-Batsman from Andhra Pradesh impressed everyone in the last IPL while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise. He scored 191 runs from 7 innings in the last IPL at an average of 38.2 and an impressive strike rate of 122.44.

He finished the match in the last ball with a six when RCB required 5 from the last ball against Delhi Capitals last season. Srikar Bharat is also a terrific WK so there will definitely be a bidding war for him in the upcoming IPL auction .

5. Rahul Tewatia (Haryana)

Rahul Tewatia has already played IPL for Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings in the past. He had played 48 IPL games and scored 521 runs at a strike rate of 124 and picked 32 wickets.

But, he played well for Rajasthan Royals in the last 2 seasons, who can forget his match winning knock against Kings XI Punjab when he smashed 5 consecutive sixes to Sheldon Cottrell. With the dimensions he possess, he can definitely attract many teams in the auction.

4. Rahul Tripathi (Maharashtra)

Rahul Tripathi was awarded as Emerging player, way back in 2017.

Rahul Tripathi is already an established IPL Star who has proven himself in the Indian Premier League. Rahul Tripathi has played 62 IPL games and scored 1385 runs at an strike rate of 136.32.

3. Karthik Tyagi (Uttar Pradesh)

Kartik Tyagi Defended 4 runs in the last over against Kings XI Punjab last season.

Karthik Tyagi is one of the fastest bowlers in the country. He has been phenomenal in the U-19 World Cup with the ball and impressed everyone with his pace.

He already represented Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. In the last IPL, he defended 4 runs in the last over against Kings XI Punjab against the likes of Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran and Deepak Hooda.

2. Avesh Khan (Madhya Pradesh)

Avesh Picked 24 Wickets in the last IPL

Avesh Khan has represented Delhi Capitals in past. He took 24 wickets in the last IPL only behind Harshal Patel’s tally of 32 wickets. He has been with the Indian team in England Tour as Net bowler.

He scored 253 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy at a strike rate of 186 in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare trophy. Surely, Shahrukh Khan will be one of the most expensive buys of the auction. Quality Indian finishers are rare and Shahrukh has proven himself enough times in the domestic circuit.
